Rudy Nielsen, R.I. (BC) F.R.I.
President
Rudy is a legendary real estate expert with extensive experience in timber cruising,
appraising, property acquisition, land development and strategic marketing. There
is little Rudy has not marketed, sold, purchased or appraised in the past 40 years.
His areas of expertise include ranches, farms, ocean and fresh water resorts and
timber properties and he holds a diploma in Appraising from the University of British
Columbia. Rudy and his team of specialists bring extensive expertise and passion
for recreational real estate and have a keen ability to identify a vision for the
highest and best use of the property.

Vice President
Though Dean has been a part of NIHO since 1972 when his father
Rudy took him out as a child to NIHO’s first property (9
Islands in the Fraser River near Dome Creek), he has been
actively working in NIHO since 1981. With close to 3 decades of
experience in the buying, developing and marketing of rural real
estate in British Columbia, Dean spearheads the subdivision and
development of many of NIHO’s prime property holdings.
Dean has a marketing degree from Simon Fraser University and is
actively involved in NIHO’s marketing strategy and web
marketing program. During the 1980’s and 1990’s
his primary role was the managing of NIHO’s timber
operations including timber cruising, site development, road
construction and timber harvesting. Dean has worked with various
international clients from the Tourism and Real Estate
industries developing marketing and web marketing programs.
